I have always tried to eat healthily and stay pretty active; that’s not to say it’s always been easy. After having 2 children, I struggled with this a little due to the obvious, time, money, motivation.
Then I found a love for lifting weights at the awesome Les Mills Bodypump class at Hoyland Leisure Centre. This fired something in my soul to learn more about the fitness industry and especially strength training.
I then found myself wanting to help others to achieve their health and fitness goals.
My style is simple but effective. I do like to lift weights, but this is not the only weapon in my arsenal; I can get you sweaty on the boxing bag or in the functional room, we can work up a sweat without hours on the treadmill; this is quite a fun way to do cardio hitting stuff, flipping tires and throwing balls around.
If it’s weights, you want I will work from the ground up to get all the foundations correct, so you lift safely and effectively throughout their session.
I like to educate as we go along so you go away with skills you can take away in your own time in the gym. Giving motivation and encouragement to get 100% effort and pushing through to get small but sustainable results.
I also love a good giggle, and I don’t take myself too seriously.
